Aloha! I am Wahkeena Sitka, 32 years old – an artist, vocalist & mystic living in Southern Oregon.

My passion is singing, sound, song, creativity, expression. I write songs. I write poems. I channel otherworldly celestial polyrhythmic spirit chants. I sing ecstatically. I love to write. I write essays. I’m fascinated with self-knowledge & self-cultivation through creativity and through learning how to listen to intuition via creativity. For me, learning how to empower myself through conscious activated self-expression is my soul’s purpose in life, and that takes place in conversations, chanting in steam rooms, writing poetry & essays, publishing my writings and performing songs in front of audiences.

In 2001, I received my BA from Eastern Michigan University, in History & Women’s Studies. From 2002 – 2008, I studied Tantra & Shamanism obsessively, and spent a lot of time travelling around Latin America on spiritual / mystical pilgrimages. In 2009, I completed a 10 Month 650 Hour Massage Therapy course at the Ashland Institute of Massage in Oregon – with a focus on Thai Massage. Since Massage School, I have become a full time freelance Web & Graphic Designer. I’m hoping to launch new creative projects in the near future, with a focus on music, uptempo ecstatic dance songs, conscious + activated lyrics, vocal alchemy sound healing workshops & hopefully retreats some day..

“Self Actualization is a Full Time Occupation”

The underlying intention of my life is about healing, self-love, global & planetary healing, self-transformation / self-actualization, and a deep devotion to the Divine Mother and to Mother Earth ~ Gaia, Pachamama. My ultimate interest is in participating in a planetary shift of consciousness and helping clear away the dusty clutter of eons of old paradigm crap.

I’m not here to sell you something. I’m not here to teach you how to be a better lover or how to activate your career or your pocketbook. I’m not a self-help guru, and I’m not gimmicky. I’m just myself, totally authentic, pretty down to earth for a new age wacko starseed ET freak, and I’m totally honest – all the time, almost to a fault. I’m just an artist, a mystic, a songstress, a designer & writer here to help bring Celestial vibes down to Planet Earth.
